• Assist QA Lead to prepare QA planning, gather and report QA status information

  • Report and provide feedback to make improvement in the quality of deliverables and QA process

  • Coordinate QA team standup on daily testing responsibilities and QA testing effort to provide quality assurance to various products

  • Review and ensure requirement specification for completeness and testable

  • Coordinate, execute and monitor test progress and defect management

  • Work closely with Product Manager, Producer and Engineer to create / review test plan and test cases in alignment with testing strategies and feature requirements

  • Arrange daily product review to ensure the quality of deliverables

  • Identify insufficiencies in test plan, procedures and enhance test coverage accordingly. Ensure test coverage accordingly. Ensure that appropriate regression tests are in place

  • Investigate and provide root cause analysis of system defects and escalate failures to the appropriate teams

  • Follow change control management procedures. Understand and employ best practices for release, configuration and environmental changes

  • Work on multiple complex products simultaneously

Qualifications

  • 5+ years QA experience in games, mobile or web products testing; included 2+ years managing experience in leading/coordinating QA team

  • Hands on experience in test management system with tools is an asset

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, practices, testing tools and bug tracking/reporting. Having a software development background or skills a major plus

  • Must have worked on QA for a software product during initial development, and live operations with on-going development and release cycles.

  • Strong logic and analytical skills; background in sciences, engineering, software engineering a plus

  • Passionately detail orientated and methodical; ability to prioritize efficiently. Fanatical about quality.

  • Be responsible, motivated, detailed minded, organized and pro-active

  • Gets stuff done quickly and independently; agile and flexible; able to adopt to a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly with all teams in the company including art, engineering, QA and marketing/UA; able to make clear issue tracking documentation and lead effective and efficient meetings

  • Ability to use or create software testing tools to help improve efficiency of QA process a huge plus

  • Experience with using and analyzing mobile crash reporting a plus (e.g. experienced with crashlytics)

  • Understand mobile software engineering and creative pipeline

  • Good command of English - written and spoken; knowledge of multiple Languages a plus (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, other South East Asian languages or European languages)

  • Experience with QA of products with multiple versions for localization and language

  • Well-versed and knowledgeable in at least one bug reporting system such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and teams at the same time and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Energetic, proactive problem solver; do not wait for problems to come up but identifies potential constraints and takes steps to de-risk early on
