Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering and Product teams to understand product technical documentation requirements
  • Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit operational procedures and manuals
  • Research, develop, and document technical design specifications and test scripts
  • Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation
  • Create strong content consumed by PlayStudios around-the-world studios
  • Write straight-forward user tutorials
  • Utilize a variety of media forms, including but not limited to photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
  • Manage updates and revisions of technical literature

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical writing of software documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and images
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Experience with Confluence a plus
  • Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural stles for multiple offices
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
  • Comfortable working autonomously
  • Degree in CS/Engineering preferred but not required
